Great show, but a small question about the pitch
Thanks for sharing this great show, I think this is as fantastic as the one at Black Cat.
Apparently the pitch during the entire show is half step lower than Black cat or his original album version, does this mean he dropped the key only for that night due to his condition or just because of the tape speed? Just curious..

Nothing to add--just great
Just to respond to the reviewer below: I think there are so *many* great Elliott performances of lesser sound quality that everyone reviewing is just ecstatic to find great sound & a great performance *together*! This is arguably among the two best '98 acoustic Elliott Smith concerts I know of. (The Black Cat in April is my personal favorite--also here on the archive.)

Amazing sound quality! Five stars!
Amazing sound quality! Five stars! This is the 1st download since discovering this site yesterday (researching films on TCM's Underground last nite). Already burned it to disc and in the process of Ipod-ing it. Excellent sound recording, probably a line out from the board mixed with a live pzm/audience mic, too. Great show, wish I woulda been there.
